Sarasota's downtown comes to life at night with a bustling Main Street area that offers a variety of entertainment, bars and nightclubs. There are a number of coffee bars and restaurants offering outdoor dining where the entertainment often is people watching. At the north end of Main Street is the Regal Hollywood 20 movie theater at Main Plaza and there is the Burns Court theater of the Sarasota Film Society.
