Downtown Sarasota Bay Runner Trolley
Lido and St. Armands Trolley
The free Sarasota Bay Runner Trolley operates 7 days a week from 8:00 AM - Midnight. See the map above for fixed stops and pickup points.
From Lido Key Public Beach Pavilion to Ted Sperling Park / South Lido Beach along Ben Franklin Drive, the driver will drop off where requested, (pull the yellow cord along the outside wall), and can be flagged down.
The trolley begins at the east end of Main Street at Kane Plaza. The location is nearby the Legacy Trail and the trolley has a rack that carries 2 bicycles on the front, similar to a Sarasota County Area Transit bus. The SCAT buses also stop nearby on Fruitville Road and Ringling Blvd. If you zoom in on the above map, you can see the blue bus icons
Passengers may bring coolers, chairs and umbrellas, as long as they fit in the seating area.
There is a wheelchair lift and two wheelchair spots on board. (Check with the lifeguards at Lido Beach for a balloon tire beach wheelchair.)
The trolley is operated by CPR Medical Transport. 866-212-7771 The App Store and Google Play App is called "TheBayRunner."
Sarasota
County operates an OnDemand service from downtown Sarasota to St.
Armands, Lido and Longboat Key. The On Demand operates much like Uber,
but with a fixed ride charge of $1.25 per person. You can download the

Stop #1 -
The Bay Runner trolley begins at Kane Plaza, at the east end of Main Street in
downtown Sarasota, FL.
Trolley stop #2 at Main St. and Fletccher.
Trolley stop #3 in front of Hollywood 11 movie theater.
Trolley stop #4 heading west to Lido near the corner of Main and
Osprey Ave.
Trolley stop #5 at Main St. and Leomon Ave. westbound stop in front of
Patrick's 1481 restaurant.
Trolley stop #6 at Main Street and Palm Avenue heading west to Lido Key and
St. Armands Circle. Currently the last stop before Ringling Bridge
westbound.
Stop #7 John Ringling Blvd. at Sunset Drive / Ritz Carleton (Coming Soon
when construction is complete.)
Stop #8 John Ringling Blvd. across the street from Plymouth Harbor.
Bay Runner Stop #9 in front of the church at the corner of Adams Drive on
John Ringling Blvd.
Bay Runner Trolley stop at John Ringling Blvd. and St. Armands Circle on the
NW corner.
Bay Runner Trolley Stop 10 at Lido Beach access near the intersection of
John Ringling Blvd. and Ben Franklin Drive beach access. Catch the trolley
here to also return to downtown Sarasota.
Bay Runner Trolley stop at Lido Pavilion. Catch the trolley to downtown
Sarasota, St. Armands and South Lido. Request stops from the driver before
reaching Ted Sperling Park.
Bay Runner Trolley Stop at Thoreau Drive and Ben Franklin Drive. Catch the
trolley here to return to downtown Sarasota.
